Ultrasound Technologist 

Summary:  

SkyBridge Resources is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in the Richland Area of Washington State!  

Job Description:  

  • $2,087 weekly gross pay 

  • Hours: M-F 8:00am-4:30pm  

  • Performs diagnostic breast ultrasound procedures ordered by a physician.  

  • Breast ultrasound, US needle localizations, breast needle guided biopsies, and cyst aspirations. 

  • Ability to take direction and work closely with breast imaging radiologist. 

  • Work at the Outpatient Imaging Center Mon.-Fri. 8am-4:30pm. 

  • Physical Demands:  

    • Requires normal/corrected vision and hearing to normal range.   

    • Physical demand level is medium; transports, lifts and positions patients; lifts up to 50 lb. with assistance.  

    • Pulls/pushes portable equipment to patient rooms.   

    • Full range of body motion is required to work with patients and equipment.   

    • Very good eye-hand coordination is essential.  

    • High stress patient care area with heavy work load and extended periods of concentration  

  • Equipment Used:  

    • Ultrasound equipment, computer, films, viewer, gurneys, wheelchairs, telephone, fax machine and laser imager. 

    •  Utilizes electronic medical records system- EPIC. 

    • GE PACS. 

    • Pyxis 

Requirements: 

  • Education:  Completion of an AMA approved ultrasound program and completion of one of the ARDMS or ARRT prerequisites for registry eligibility required. 

  • Experience:  One year experience in medical sonography as a registered sonographer or as a registry eligible sonographer preferred. Breast ultrasound experience preferred.  

  • Licensure/Credentials:  Current ARRT or ARDMS Ultrasound credential required or registry eligible required.  Registered status will be required within the first year of employment. 

  • Other:  Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.   

  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
