Job Description for Process Engineer:

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the oversight, planning, design and development of equipment and machinery used in the manufacture of Water Treatment filters and systems required to meet a growing market. This position will support and facilitate all aspects in designing, sourcing, and oversight of the existing equipment, machinery, and processes used in daily production.

  • Perform time studies throughout all phases of the manufacturing process and develop clear and accurate data regarding takt and cycle times for all SKU’s and workstations.
  • Work closely with NPD, Quality, and Engineering in the development of new products and equipment.
  • Create and maintain a library of mechanical drawings, SOP, Control Documents to support Manufacturing.
  • Design and develop fixtures, tooling, and jigs to assist production and improve productivity
  • Develop workflow processes and job instructions based on ISO quality requirements
  • Maintain or repair equipment and work closely with technicians and engineers to reduce downtime and improve throughput.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to Senior ME and Plant Manager regarding assigned projects.
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Five or more years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry, CAD, Lean Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering
  • Three or more years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within consumer product environments.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and disciplines
  • Experience in 5-S and ISO environments
  • Highly versed in CAD, 3D mechanical design and drawing.
  • Some physical exertion including working around machinery, sometimes in tight quarters, noisy or dusty areas, commensurate with a manufacturing environment.
  • May need to spend a significant amount of time able to walk, stand, kneel, sit, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Up to 5-15% Travel
