Job Description

The purpose of this work effort is procure a Functional Consultant for our Nashville TN client to assist in the FSCM upgrade and daily work efforts primarily related to General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK) during a time of short staffing due to extended leave and training of new employees.

•    The FSCM team will be short staffed due to several open positions. While these positions will be filled soon there will still be a time of transition and training of the new employees.

•    The FSCM team will be short staffed due to two employees being out on maternity leave for extended periods of time between November 2018 and March 2019.

•    Currently the state is beginning a PeopleTools and PeopleSoft image upgrade. The timeframe of this upgrade will overlap the time of transition for new employees and extended maternity leave.

The consultant will:

•    Provide expertise on business process and configuration changes needed to assist during the FSCM image upgrade as it primarily relates to GL/Commitment Control (KK).

•    Provide expertise on business process and configuration changes needed to assist with the new functionality requested by the business owners as it primarily relates to GL/KK.

•    Provide expertise in the identification and clean-up of unreconciled KK transactions. Some of the known issues are as follows:

o    Ledgers are out of sync – transactions posted to the parent and not the child or vice versa
o    Transactions are bypassing budget that we need to ensure are budget checking
o    Deleted transactions are still pulling in the KK ledger/activity log
o    Liquidation table cleanup is needed (currently only cleaning it up as transactions are closed) and rework of an app engine to verify this part is included
o    Need to define a KK reconciliation process (we are currently doing it but in piecemeal)
