Monday through Friday- 5 hours per day.

Job Description for Office Administrator

Supports compliance activity in the areas of Product Compliance, Chemical Compliance, Feed Compliance, including:

  • Safety Data Sheet (SDS) administration including requests from Corporate, local coordination of reviews, release and publish in SAP
  • Field the variety of incoming request for revisions or updates to SDSs from sales, production, HESQ by liaising with Corporate and issuing service tickets to Corp Chemical Compliance service desk
  • Supports fertilizer/feed product compliance with product licenses, renewals and tonnage payments for a small portion of the portfolio
  • Support the collection and maintenance of documents related to FDA compliance for feed including Facility Registrations, Foreign Supplier Approvals, Terminal SFSF Certifications

Supports product quality activity including customer complaint resolution and product quality assurance.  Activities include:

  • Monitor the customer complaint inbox for new entries, entry of issues into Synergi database, reporting on Synergi case status
  • Coordinate the retrieval of missing data (sales order details, credits, cause, actions) when forms are incomplete
  • Work with various Supply and Ops functions to keep accurate records of product quality non-conforming inventory (rejected product, returned product, segregated off-spec)
  • Receive in and document Certificates of Analysis. Maintain database of CofAs in central storage location.  

Assist with various departmental process improvement projects

Education/Experience Required:

  • 5 years professional experience in an administrative capacity
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and high attention to detail
  • Can work independently or cross-functionally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • MS Office experience – mandatory; SAP experience - preferred
