Cardiac Cath Lab Tech 

Summary:  

SkyBridge Resources is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech in the Richland Area of Washington State!  

Job Description:  

  • $2,125 weekly gross pay 

  • Hours are 10 hour day shifts with 1 to 2 nights of call a week and every 4th weekend 

  • Embraces Planetree Philosophy to provide a safe, comfortable, therapeutic patient centered environment. 

  • Follows all National Patient Safety Goals. 

  • Performs Cardiac Catheterization and or Interventional Radiology procedures in the role of scrub, circulate, and monitor. 

  • Prepares patient and all necessary equipment for procedure. Operates needed equipment. 

  • Produces high quality medical imaging using cine-radiography using the ALARA methodology under direct supervision of Physician. 

  • Posts and processes all exams prior to transferring images to PACS. 

  • Navigates workstations regarding film retrieval and archiving. 

  • Monitors patient condition on the computer, documents and alerts physician as needed. 

  • Consults with the Radiologist or Cardiologist regarding procedure to be accomplished as needed. 

  • Assists physicians in locating patient radiographs. 

  • Assists with patient scheduling as required. 

  • Greets patient pleasantly, confirms identification and explains examination procedure to the patient. 

  • Adheres to all radiation safety precautions and aseptic techniques. Follows departmental policies and procedures. 

  • Completes appropriate documentation as prescribed by the department and for quality control activities. 

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Requirements: 

  • Cardiac Cath & interventional Radiology experience required. At least 1 year of experience 

  • Washington State DOH Radiologic Technologist Certification (RT) or Washington State DOH Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification (IS) required 

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with Radiography (R) credential or Cardiovascular Credentialing International with RCIS credential required 

  • Active BLS - Must be American Heart Association
