SkyBridge Resources is seeking an RN - Procedural Nurse – Outpatient in the Richland Area of Washington State!

Job Description:

  • $2,211 weekly gross pay
  • Hours are: 8 hour days between the hours of 0530 and 1930. No weekends, No Call.

  • Uses principles of aseptic technique and infection control in varying situations.
  • Assures all equipment is functioning before use, and follows manufacture’s guidelines.
  • Verifies the  operative procedure using the consent form, patient statement, and if needed surgeon verification prior to the procedure.
  • Continuously evaluates the patient’s needs, plan of care, and nursing actions, adjusting the plans as required to provide optimum patient outcomes.
  • Verifies allergies to medication, food, chemicals.
  • Reports deviations of diagnostics studies (lab or diagnostic studies) to the attending surgeon.
  • Starts IVs and manage IVs during procedure.
  • Within scope of licensure and as per competency, administers medication as directed by Provider.
  • Provides patient care during pre, intra and post procedures.
  • Provides a safe environment.
  • Assesses patients upon admission and discharge.
  • Assists with a variety of outpatient procedures, exams and/or operation of diagnostic equipment as applicable and assigned (i.e. colonoscopy, endoscopy, DEXA, ultrasound, etc).
  • Maintains appropriate aseptic technique for preparation, procedures and administration of medications.
  • Documents all patient interactions in patient record accurately.
  • Consults and coordinates with health care providers to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient plan of care.
  • Communicates and documents patient/family teaching
  • Prepares procedure/surgical rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.
  • Adheres to all safety and infection control policies and procedures
  • Performs variety of routine clerical functions as necessary.
  • Performs within limitations of scope of WA State RN Licensure.
  • Performs pre and post procedure patient education.
  • Provides patient education by assessing educational needs, planning, implementing and evaluating teaching programs.
  • Provides telephone advice and triage to patients using a physician approved protocol.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Administers conscious sedation (moderate sedation) per competency under direction of Provider.
  • Accesses patients before, during and after administration of sedation and provide appropriate care.
  • Triages patients per specialty protocol (phone or face-to-face).
  • Assists and coordinates with other staff to ensure appropriate follow-up care for patients.
  • Communicates promptly and effectively with team members to insure safe and appropriate care.
  • Directs and supervises unlicensed personnel.


  • Active WA State RN license
  • Active BLS required - must be American Heart Association
  • Active ACLS required - Must be American Heart Association
  • Experience with conscious sedation - required
  • Experience with EPIC charting - highly preferred
  • Min 2 years outpatient/procedural experience
  • GI/endo experience
