SkyBridge Resources is seeking a Pharmacist in the Coos Bay Area of Oregon State!  

Job Description:  

  • Staff Pharmacist Pay range:  

    • $49.16-$72.95 BASED ON EXPERIENCE 

    • Sign on bonus $15,000  

    • Student loan forgiveness - $5,250 per year for four years (total of $21,000) or less (if Student Loans are paid off before four years)  

  • Shifts: 10 hour shift, may work alone during code blue, evening shift for 1 hour, weekend rotation, every other 

  • Performs all job duties and functions will be within the scope of practice for a Registered Pharmacist, as defined by the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy  

  • Performs basic professional pharmacy practice to assure the delivery of pharmacy service in accord with good pharmacy standards of practice including medication preparation, distribution and monitoring; these may include extemporaneous compounding, IV admixture preparation, chemotherapy preparation, total parenteral nutrition in addition to standard unit dose preparation and dispensing  

  • Coordinates with other professional staff including pharmacy technicians, nurses, physicians, administration, and other health care personnel in routine daily operations  

  • Uses various computer systems in the performance of normal duties for profile review, allergy assessment, kinetic consults, and billing charges  

  • Maintains required record keeping and documentation of inventory, controlled substances, and general pharmacy stock  

  • Responds to Code and Trauma events in the Emergency Room and general hospital so BLS training is required  

  • Maintains ongoing continuing education in relevant subject areas to ensure regular re-licensure according to State of Oregon Board of Pharmacy requirements  

  • Provides clinical consultation, patient counseling, and staff education       


  • Willing to relocate to Coos Bay, OR 


    • Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position  

    • Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment  

    • Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public  

    • Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision  

    • Demonstrates knowledge in current state and federal regulations relevant to contemporary pharmacy standards  

    • Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location  

    • Working knowledge of but not limited to: label maker, unit-dose packaging machine, heat-sealer for single unit dose       

  • Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: 

    • Current Oregon Pharmacist License  

    • Advanced degree specializing in clinical and/or hospital pharmacy preferred
